The meaning of terms written with a capital letter in this document has been defined in the Terms of Service available on the Service operated at inspektor.pojazdu.pl ("Service").
I. Personal data processed, purposes, legal bases and processing periods
We may collect, store and process the following types of data:
- 1Information about using the Service:
IP address, browser type, operating system, referral source, location, Service usage history - based on legitimate interest (ensuring proper Service operation, analysis, marketing), for the period until the end of activities or withdrawal of consent. This data may also be processed based on consent expressed in Cookies settings - it can be withdrawn at any time.
- 2Data necessary for providing Services in the Service:
username, password, e-mail address, country, language, data entered by the user, data on queries and report orders (e.g. VIN, registration number, query history), and in case of payments: name and surname, company name, address, NIP, bank account number. We process this data: based on the contract concluded by accepting the Service terms, based on legitimate interest (protection against claims, direct marketing, analysis), and to fulfill legal obligations (accounting and tax) - for a period of 5-6 years, in accordance with applicable regulations. Providing this data is necessary to use the services in the Service.
- 3Communication data:
e-mail address, name and surname, phone number, correspondence content (including from social media) - we process them for the purpose of handling inquiries, business contact and archiving, for a period of up to 6 years or until an effective objection is raised.
- 4Vehicle data entered by users:
This data usually does not concern vehicles owned by users. We process it in a form that does not allow identification of a natural person, based on legitimate interest - for the purpose of analysis and creation of aggregate reports. This data may be made available to third parties in anonymous form.
II. Cookies
The Service uses cookies and similar technologies for the purpose of: ensuring proper Service operation, remembering user preferences (e.g. language, appearance), analyzing usage statistics (e.g. Google Analytics), conducting marketing activities - without profiling the user in the sense of legal effects.
Session cookies are deleted after closing the browser, and persistent ones - remain until expiration or deletion by the user. Consent to the use of cookies can be managed in browser settings and/or in Service settings.
III. Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal effects for the user. We may use general analytical mechanisms (e.g. marketing cookies), but without in-depth profiling of Service users.
IV. Data recipients
Data may be disclosed to:
- our employees and collaborators,
- companies providing us with IT, hosting, marketing, payment, accounting and legal advisory services,
- public entities - to the extent required by law,
- recipients outside the EEA - only to countries ensuring an adequate level of data protection (e.g. according to EC decisions or based on standard contractual clauses).
